When you need a temporary solution to display a flagpole, one useful option is an indoor flagpole kit. In this blog we’re sharing all the steps for how to set up an indoor flagpole kit. 

What’s included with an indoor flagpole kit?

Our indoor flagpole kit includes a two-piece oak flagpole – 1.25” diameter, 8 feet tall, along with a brass finish base. A Maple Leaf top beautifully accents the pole. Also included; rings for securing your flag.

Step-by-step instructions

*Note: We recommend you order a flag with a sleeve for this pole. Alternatively, you can order one of our regular flags with grommets but it’s more challenging to make that work for the indoor flagpole kit. 

1. Take the brass base out of the box and place it where you want to set up your pole. Make sure to remove the plastic tube from inside the hole.
2. Remove the two parts of the oak pole from the other box. Slide the bottom half of the pole into the brass base. 
3. To make things easier, get everything set up on the top half of the pole before screwing it onto the bottom. This includes sliding the flag onto the pole and securing it with the provided rings.
4. Next, put the Maple Leaf topper on top of the pole and use the provided screws to secure it. 
5. Once the top half is ready, screw it onto the base. Unfurl your flag and you’re ready to display!
